Jordan Speranzo, 20, has been acting and singing in various productions for most of his life starting with Evenings In Quarantine: The Zombie Opera at the age of 13. This was his gateway into the world of opera leading to many performances with the Pittsburgh Savoyards and Undercroft Opera, most recently appearing as Pish-Tush in The Mikado. Jordan has also appeared in The Drowsy Chaperone as Aldolfo and as Luigi Gaudi in Lucky Stiff, both with JCC Musical Theatre.
Since forming his first rock band, Lightning Box, also at the age of 13, Jordan has fostered a love of the stage and of the creative process. He is now venturing deeper into the world of music as a freshman at Carnegie Mellon University School of Music, studying music composition. As a collaborator in the creation of an original steampunk opera, Steam –or- The Specters of The Knox Mill, Jordan is able to merge his love of rock music with his love of opera.
